Skill Level: Intermediate Knitting techniques include: knitting in the round, making cables, decreasing (knitting 2 stitches together), and increasing. What you'll need: size 10 US 16' circular needles or set of dpns 180y/ 164m of bulky yarn cable needle stitch marker tapestry needle Gauge: 10 rows + 10 sts in stockinette st = 2.5 inches using size 10 US needles Finished Circumference 16 inches (41cm) in circumference (unstretched) and 10.5 inches (27cm) in length. Thanks stretch in the brim and hat it can accommodate a larger sized head. One size fits most. September 23rd, 2011 A mistake has been found in Row 1 of the written instructions “body of the hat”. It read (p1, k2, p8, k3) x5, p1 But should read (p1, k3, p8, k3) x5, p1. The charted directions are correct.
